Research Highlights

The NMR solution structure of Sac7d, a chromatin protein from the hyperthermophilic archaeon Sulfolobus acidocaldarius. Charged amino acid residues are believed to be important for the thermal stability of proteins. Here, lysines and arginines are shown in blue, and aspartate and glutamates are shown in red. Visit John Shriver's web page for more information.

A two-cell C. elegans embryo. PAR-2, fused to green flourescent protein, localizes to the periphery of the posterior (right-hand) cell. To learn more about protein localization, development and morphogenesis, visit Lynn Boyd's web page.

Crystal structure of the restriction endonuclease EcoRII. Visit Liqing Chen's webpage for more information.
